Sourena Vasseghi is an executive coach, award-winning author, and inspirational speaker. He deals with severe cerebral palsy, has limited motor skills and a significant speech impediment. Despite his body limitation, Sourena’s work has been featured on NBC, ESPN, syndicated talk shows, and in print, including Los Angeles Times and Los Angeles Business Journal. Besides appearing in corporate and university venues, he has had the honor of being a TEDx speaker.
Working with Mr. Vasseghi radiates some kind of fresh air for me. As a designer going through on his content, I am learning from him myself, specifically on the motivation topic. It was a pleasure for me to be part of his design team, going on his presentations, e-books, social media, and landing pages.
The logo
The logo is already done when I joined Sourena’s team. I just made a small revision by removing the reflection on the logo icon. For me, the icon looks cleaner and sharp without that extra element.

E-books
Sourena authored seven books. Three of them are printed, and the other four are e-books. I noticed his previous books have inconsistent brand style from the other marketing materials. Mr. Vasseghi was not asking for a branding, but I believe it is a duty of a designer to execute even when not asked. Website reaches far more people than any other marketing material. So, I took his website as a basis for consistent visual form.
Course Pack
Part of Sourena V’s coaching program is offering a course pack. It is composed of e-book, webinar series, and printed worksheets.
Landing pages
When Mr. Vasseghi asked me to create his landing pages via Kajabi, I quickly scan the website builder. I am more familiar with WordPress, so I found the platform amusing with its simplicity and user-friendly even for the first time user .
